Founders' Story...

Panphailin Puntira (Lyn or Aoi)
Falada Puntira (Fah)
Lyns' original home town is Mae Cham, the small district behind Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand.
When she was young, her parents would sell desserts and meat in the morning local market in order to send Lyn and her 2 brothers to school. She learned her way around the kitchen by helping her mother and learning from her the Lanna and Thai recipes.
Lyn helped her mother prepare and sell food until she graduated from Chiang Mai university in 1997 with degrees in Sociology & Anthropology. She worked as a Social Science Researcher for 15 years. During this time she enjoyed the experience of living with the local people and being part of their northern Thailand culture, life style, religion and food.
She had the idea that she would love to share all of her experience with people who would love to learn the real Lanna and Thai culture from a real Thai local so that they could get in touch with the very heart of the original Lanna people and their life style.
Lyn started her dream by becoming a Thai cooking instructor in 2011. Then, in 2013 she became a local tour guide (TAT License No. 1-033058). Since then, Lyn has worked with many travel agencies in Bangkok and Chiang Mai to learn more about the Tour business.
At the same time, in 2014, Lyn started building her own Cooking School business. She lunched her own Tour Agency business in 2018 (TAT License No. 24/00706).
"As an only daughter, I had the unique opportunity to accompany my mother to various workplaces during my childhood—from visiting remote hill tribe communities to assisting at our family’s cooking school. These experiences shaped my early understanding of work, hospitality, and cultural connection. I supported my mother in welcoming guests, taking photos for clients, preparing ingredients for cooking classes, and helping with our business’s online marketing.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned from my mother is the importance of creativity and balance in everyday life. Through her, I came to see that our family business is not just a job—it’s an essential part of who I am.
At the same time, I’ve applied the knowledge I gained from studying International Relations and Public Administration at Chiang Mai University to serve the community through my involvement in a political organization. This has deepened my passion for public service and community engagement.
I take great pride in sharing authentic local ways of life with visitors.
My dream is to become a bridge between travelers and local communities—fostering genuine cultural exchange and mutual learning through meaningful, real-world experiences."
